Gary has over 30 years recruiting experience and in that time, has been very influential in helping clients recruit the best talent within their respective spaces. He is repeatedly recognized by peers, clients and candidates alike as an “outstanding recruiter” who pays attention to “all of the details.” A former Management Recruiters International “Nation’s Top Ten” recruiter, he formed Analog Solutions in 1986 to establish an organization which could meet the needs of his clients in a more direct and effective way. His commitment, drive, and integrity are second to none in a field where there is a tremendous cross section of people. His leadership and recruiting skills have inspired many recruiters covering a variety of disciplines. He has been on several “Top Producer” panels at recruiting seminars and conferences. He is currently a frequent “Guest Columnist” for EE Times-Planet Analog site where he writes regarding the industry trends.
His clients over the years have included several Fortune 500 Clients as well as many emerging, well-funded startups. He has been responsible for assembling world class technology, and Executive teams in the Analog and Mixed Signal semiconductor world. His primary focus in years’ past was the Power Electronics, TV and Audio industries.
His network of contacts is second to none in the analog world. In addition, he has relationships with several leading Venture Capitalists as well as Investment Bankers who serve the analog semiconductor industry.
He created the industry’s first career site, www.careeranalog.com, devoted to the analog community in 1998.
He holds a BS in Human Resources Management from NYU and a MS in Management Science from SUNY Binghamton.

Irmtraud Cowell is an Academic Coordinator for Transparent Language Online. Transparent Language leverages modern technology and methods to transform the process of learning a new language. The company specializes in delivering more reliable learning outcomes at a rapid pace with an emphasis on serving the needs of professionals.
Irmtraud came to the U.S. from Germany 22 years ago when she was awarded an academic scholarship to Rhodes College in Memphis. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in German from the University of Tennessee.
Irmtraud is an experienced German lecturer and has been teaching a variety of courses at the university level. She joined Transparent in 2011 and besides teaching also trains language tutors & instructors. She also supports instructional teams across the enterprise through the production of professional development modules.
Irmtraud enjoys mentoring business professionals interested in German language and culture. Her expertise and counsel lend valuable insights that maximize opportunities for cooperation and collaboration.
In her spare time, Irmtraud enjoys spending time with her family in Knoxville and in Stuttgart.
Julia fells, German Language Instructor
Julia has an international business and marketing background with global collaborations in e-commerce and finance outsourcing.
After graduating from Cardiff University with an MBA, she worked in Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and the U.S. for media companies and service providers such as Bertelsmann, arvato and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
Since her relocation from Germany to Knoxville 2 years ago, Julia has been professionally engaged in educational programs at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and teaches German at West High School.
Anticipating client needs and efficiently solving complex problems by driving stakeholder interaction are among Julia's greatest strengths, which she enjoys applying in an international business environment.
